Home!!!

I'm home!! It was an exhausting 33 hour ordeal but I made it. The flight from Lima to Miami that they originally booked me on was delayed, which meant that I wouldn't have made my connecting flight to Boston, so they changed my ticket at the last minute so that I would fly into NYC first. I'm glad they did because I had plenty of time to go through customs and make my connection.

After sleeping for barely an hour on the overnight flight from Lima to New York, I was exhausted by the time I boarded the tiny plane for Boston. I fell asleep almost instantly as folks boarded the plane, but woke up to hear the announcement that our flight was going to be delayed due to thunderstorms in the Boston area. Great.

After sitting on the tarmac for longer than our actually flight to Boston, we finally made it! I'm so happy to be home, safe and sound. Phil picked me up at the airport and Gomez greeted us at the door. I'm officially home!
